Sun Sunfire V40z Server 4x 2.8GHz Dual Core/32GB/1500GB

Product Description  

This is a Used Sun Microsystems 3U SunFire V40z rack mount server. This server is in overall good condition with minor scratches on the case and faceplate. The unit was plugged into 110 vac power using both power supplies and it powered through the POST sequence and into the BIOS. We were able to toggle through the bios and the hard drive configuration and no issues were noticed during this process. No further testing was done. Installation rails not included.

Company Policies  

Payment must be received within 7 days of close of auction. Texas shipments and local pick ups are charged 7.25% sales tax. We ship Monday-Friday. Orders will usually ship 1-2 business days after receiving cleared payment.

We ship via UPS. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, APOs, FPOs, etc.

Buyer pays for all shipping costs. Click on the shipping calculator to find the shipping/handling fee to your location. This cost includes professional packing & insurance. We do not make money on shipping.

We pack very well. We use new boxes and pack at least 2″ of protection on all sides. Small items are packed in bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Large items are packed in high density cut foam. We receive reports of shipping damage on less than .01% of our orders.

Combined shipping is available for all items purchased within 7 days and is based on the total weight and dims. Wait until all auctions have ended and then complete the online checkout to take advantage of the savings. If your order is over the UPS limits, contact us so we can calculate shipping manually.

Local pickup is available from 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. This option is for customers to pickup their order directly. There is a minimum $5.00 handling fee per order as well as 7.25% Texas sales tax.

We will not ship on your account or allow you to arrange your own shipping. This is due to prior issues and is not negotiable.

We accept international PayPal payments from the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greenland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States & territories. We do not accept credit cards issued outside of Canada or the US. UPS only offers express and expedited international services (Standard is available for Canadian shipments). These options are automatically calculated when paying. You can check the cost via the international shipping calculator here. All UPS Standard to Canada shipments incur UPS brokerage fees. Some items shipped UPS Expedited/Express receive free brokerage services. We strongly recommend the buyer contact UPS to find what the fees are. Please contact us before bidding to see if the item can be sent via USPS Priority Mail International. The buyer will need to contact us before paying in order to select this shipping method in the checkout. The buyer is responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, broker fees, etc that are incurred. We do not know what these fees are and have no way to calculate them. You will need to speak to your local customs office if you have questions about these fees. We will not mark items as gifts. We mark the final auction price as the declared value. We do not refund shipping/handling or bank fees for returned items. The buyer is responsible for returning the item and paying for return shipping.

This item is guaranteed to be as described. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt if there is a problem. We will provide instructions to return the item for exchange or refund. We will not accept any returns without an RMA Number on the box.

The return authorization expires 21 days after it has been assigned, If a return is received after this time, the package will be returned to sender.

Returns need to be packaged with the same care when originally shipped. If a returned item is damaged during shipping, the buyer is responsible for seeking reimbursement from the shipping company.

Returns for any reason other than defects not described incur a 15% restocking fee. If an item is returned defective but tests fine we will refund the item price minus a 15% restocking fee.

We do not reimburse fees incurred from testing/diagnosing/shipping items.

Customer satisfaction and feedback are very important to us. We consider receiving less than 5 stars in eBay’s detailed seller ratings a failure (and so does eBay!).
